Isabel Cavenecia

Overview
Isabel Cavenecia is a Peruvian/Dutch artist who was born in 1990. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, The Hague in 2014. She is known for her sensitive graphite and pastel drawings, where she investigates the relationship between emotions and surroundings. She has exhibited her works at several galleries and museums such as Harkawik (New York), Erratum (Berlin), Relaciones Públicas Galería (Mexico City), Across (London), Title Gallery (Santa Fe), FOAM (Amsterdam). Several of the drawings featured here are from the artist's recently completed an intuitive drawing project, sponsored by the Mondriaan Fund, where she explored the silence of the desert and it’s inhabitants in the southwest USA.
