Larysa Myers studied classical drawing at Grand Central Academy and textile design at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She participated in several residencies after, including Chashama and the Wassaic Project. After moving to Beacon, NY and starting a family she began a new body of work focusing on drawing. Selected exhibitions include Night Scenes at TSA in Brooklyn, NY (2021); Soft Temple at Mother Gallery in Beacon, NY (2019); Mothflower.com (2021); and Coronacare, FieldProjectsGallery.com (2020), and the online group exhibition at Fortnight Institute in March 2022.
Her work has been featured in Maake Magazine, ArtMazeMag, The Concern and an upcoming book by the Drawing Stall. She currently resides in Sarasota, FL.
