Amanda Konishi (b. 1992) is a painter and scientific illustrator based in New York. She studied at the School of Visual Arts and has shown work at Furnace Art on Paper Archive (Falls Village, CT); Ortega y Gassett Projects (Brooklyn, NY); Calico Gallery (Brooklyn, NY); Transmitter (Brooklyn, NY); Public Address Gallery (Brooklyn, NY); C24 Gallery (NY) and Field Projects (NY), among others. Her recent solo installation CLOUD DOGS was open to the public at 575 Madison Avenue and was the site of a shakuhachi performance by Katsuya Nonaka of the Seppuku Pistols in 2022. Konishi currently lives and works in New York and Brooklyn.
