Jenna Ransom lives and works in Brooklyn, NY where she paints and draws. She received her MFA from Pratt Institute in 2005 and her BA from Roanoke College in Salem, VA in 2002. She has been awarded a New York Foundation of the Arts painting fellowship and artist residencies with the Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program, the Bronx Museum of the Arts, the Jentel Foundation, Abrons Art Center, and Vermont Studio Center. She has exhibited in galleries in New York, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Michigan, Washington, California and Hawaii.
