Zhizi Wu (b. 2002, China) lives and works in Chicago, US. She uses paintings as major media, along with their titles and other writings, to form a collection of storytelling that expresses sincere appreciation of humanhood. Besides observing and responding to her surroundings with ethnographic senses, she uses fabricated settings and allegorical plotlines to process life experiences into objects of appreciation. Zhizi Wu received her BFA degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is currently a resident artist at Zhou B Art Center, Chicago, US.
