Skyler Simpson (b. 1995, Nebraska) is a visual artist based in Chicago, IL. In her paintings and drawings, Skyler explores the mysterious nature of intuition, a phenomenon that connects our world to the otherworld. She holds a BFA from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Skyler’s work was selected for the AXA Art Prize Exhibition at the New York Academy of Art three years in a row, 2022 - 2024, and she was recognized as a Luminarts Visual Arts Finalist in Chicago (2026). Her work has been featured in New American Paintings, Booooooom, and in venues across the country, including Anderson Ranch Arts Center and the Chicago Artists Coalition.
