PROJECTS
Born on social media, MEPAINTSME grew out of a shared love for contemporary art and community collaboration. Alongside our monthly virtual exhibitions, we regularly partner with physical galleries and venues to bring digital projects into real-life spaces. Here are a few highlights.
THE UNWORLDING

MPM/IRL
MPM x MY PET RAM
JULY 11 - 27, 2025
My Pet Ram welcomes Mepaintsme for a one month gallery-takeover. The resulting show, MPM / IRL (mepaintsme in real life) assembles a dispersed network of artists, whose relationships with the artist/curator have largely developed online, into a shared physical space. The show features over fifty contemporary artists, as well as works by 20th-century artists on loan from private collections.
DISPARATE VISIONS
MPM x JACK HANLEY GALLERY
MARCH 22 - APRIL 21, 2024
Mepaintsme, the anonymous artist and curator behind the MEPAINTSME Gallery and Instagram feed, shows his personal artwork in a solo presentation titled Drawn Curtains, which features a selection of the artist's recent works on paper. Concurrent with the solo show is the group exhibition, Disparate Visions, curated by Jack Hanley, and featuring MEPAINTSME gallery artists Alexandra Duprez, Robert Kraiss, Alex Kvares and Gosia Machon.
PLUM LINE
MPM x NYC CRIT CLUB
JANUARY 5 - 25, 2023
Mepaintsme is pleased to collaborate with the NYC CRIT CLUB, as guest juror for their Plum Lime Residency Program. The biannual residency provides artists with a private studio in Bushwick (Brooklyn, NY) for six-weeks to create a new body of work or continue their work in a focused and ambitious way.
