Sophie Duez (b. 2003, Norfolk, UK) is an oil painter whose work explores desire and emotional tension through the charged embodiment of the figure. Raised in sacred spaces and shaped by a sensitivity to beauty and discipline, as well as living with double vision since childhood, her practice is grounded in both sensation and form. She has exhibited across the UK and internationally, and will soon begin the MA Painting programme at the Royal College of Art in London.
