JJ Cromer and his family live on a small farm in central Appalachia, where they've tended bees, geese, chickens, and mushrooms. His work is in numerous private and public collections, including the American Visionary Art Museum, the Intuit Center of Outsider Art, the High Museum of Art, the American Folk Art Museum, and the Taubman Museum of Art. He has several pieces in the permanent exhibit at the American Visionary Art Museum. He is represented by American Primitive Gallery/Nexus Singularity.
