Alexandra Duprez (b. 1974, Quimper, France) is an established contemporary artist living in Douarnenez in western Brittany. During a one-year stay in Australia at the age of seventeen, Alexandra discovered Aboriginal painting and so began to paint herself. On her return, she attended the École des Beaux-arts in Quimper. Alexandra dedicates herself exclusively to drawing and painting from the top of her house where her studio lies. The artist is represented by Aarne Anton Gallery in New York and Galerie du Lendemain in Paris. She has also collaborated with publishing houses including Esperluète in Belgium and Chose Commune in France.
